Nationwide Listing of Homeschool Attorneys

The Association of HomeSchool Attorneys (AHSA-USA) is preparing a nationwide listing of attorneys who will assist homeschoolers on homeschooling issues, as well as a list of attorneys practicing in other area who are homeschooling or have homeschooled their children or themselves. These attorneys will be listed on the AHSA-USA website at www.ahsa-usa.org. AHSA-USA is looking for attorneys to be recommended for listing. The primary qualification is that they represent or are willing to provide information to homeschoolers on homeschooling issues, including, but not limited to truancy, child protective services or custody, or that they are homeschooling (or have homeschooled) their children or were homeschooled. If you know of any attorneys who might be interested, please email us or ask them to email LConrad@ahsa-usa.org. At this point listing is free, but AHSA-USA is accepting donations to defray the costs of the website and Webmaster fees. Here is further information about the group:
